Awesome, unexpected side effects of leaving my dead end job

So you may have seen that I lost my dead end job a couple of weeks back. I really couldn’t be happier.

The only regret that I have is not getting fired sooner!

That job robbed me of my happiness for almost 3 and a half years. I had some distractions to keep me going along the way such as getting my degree, dating my wife, and having fun with my friends but there’s a part of me that wishes I did it sooner…that I was strong enough to walk away on my own terms and that I didn’t go back after my failed internship hiatus. I wish I was stronger to step out of my comfort zone sooner.

Oh well.

The most important thing is that I’m no longer in that shitty, stress-filled work environment and I’ve moved on to bigger and better things.

I’ve been at my current gig for a little over a month now but I can already notice some major improvements to my life.

Good news, guys:

I’ve seen the promised land and you can too.

You owe it to yourself, your health, your spouse, your family…basically your life, to get out of your shitty dead end job as soon as possible, and start doing something you actually enjoy before it’s too late.

All what you have to do is plan, take that leap of faith, and say, “Enough is enough! I quit!” (Getting fired also works well.)

You’ll get there eventually.

Promise.
