This is Good Bye

The Self Employed Movement has been around for almost 2.5 years.

I started it right around the time that I quit my job to start an internship that I quit days before it was supposed to start.

It was a tough time in my life and I was completely lost.

I hit “rock bottom” so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to become self-employed and blog about my journey along the way.

My life has changed a lot since then.

I got married. I started a new job. We rescued 2 pugs. We’ve paid off some debts. We’ve slowly started to figure our shit out.

And now we’re moving cross-country from Florida where my wife and I have lived the majority of our lives to Portland, Oregon in less than a month.

My priorities in life have changed; mainly becoming self-employed no longer is a big one for me.

A better quality of life is.

And with that, this will be the last post on the Self Employed Movement.

It has served it’s purpose over the years. It’s gotten a lot of views, tons of followers, and I’ve even made some wonderful friends.

It has served as an outlet to get my thoughts and ideas out there. Hopefully it has improved your life just by reading it.

Thank you for your support, kind comments, and best wishes throughout the years. I appreciate all of it.

This is good bye from the Self Employed Movement.

I invite you to visit my new blog, Our Oregon Story, to follow along with our journey as we transition to the next exciting chapter in our lives.

Good bye and thanks for coming along for the ride.
